Hanuman Chalisathon 2026
After a beautiful pooja celebrating Ram Navami just days prior, the CMSJ ashram welcomed Ram-doot Hanumanji on March 29! More than 300 community members joined us for Hanuman Chalisathon, an annual event where Tulsidasji's Hanuman Chalisa is chanted 11 times, each in a different tune.
The evening unfolded as a truly uplifting experience. The devotion of our percussionists, chanters, and instrumentalists created a spirited, absorbing atmosphere. The collective chanting of the crowd made the space feel vibrant with Hanumanji's presence. After the chanting, we concluded the evening with the Hanuman and Gurudev aartis. Attendees then headed downstairs for a lovely dinner prepared by our ever-devoted kitchen staff.
A heartfelt thank you to our adult sevaks for the beautiful altar decoration, AV support, and countless behind-the-scenes efforts led by 20 dedicated CHYKs. Thank you as well to our kitchen crew, emcees, and of course, the dedicated team of CHYKs and JCHYKs whose thoughtful planning made the event possible. We are truly grateful for such a special evening of devotion and community, and we look forward to gathering again for Hanuman Chalisathon next year!
